iPad 3 vs Google Nexus 7

Tutorial [教程] • 21 JULY 2014
I am a gadget freak….I mean, I really am! Any new technology or invention in the market ,I want one…whether I need it or not! Can’t imagine life without it now!

I am an Apple fan , I love everything from Apple especially my ipad 3. iPads are ideal as a computer replacement for those with simple needs: an easy-to-use device perfect for those who only use a PC for email, web and video messaging. Storage-wise, the 16GB base model is really only recommended for those who will use a limited number of apps and won’t need to store media on it. Otherwise, I’d treat 32GB as a sensible minimum, 64GB as the luxury option and 128GB only for those who want to take a lot of media with them when travelling. Mine is 16GB.
Well today my Uncle gave me his Nexus 7 (32GB) - a simple design features a slim body, a thin bezel and a soft-touch, matte back. So it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand while the bright, beautiful 7" display brings your entertainment to life. At just 0.64lbs (290g), the all-new Nexus 7 is light enough to take anywhere and fits easily in bags, backpacks, and even back-pockets. With up to 9 hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of web browsing or e-reading, there's plenty of juice to get you through the day, and built-in wireless charging means you can charge, grab, and go.

The Nexus is around half the price of the iPad, but you must use it to know the performance. Google has drafted in Asus to build the Nexus, and the Taipei-based firm has form for building quality devices such as the Transformer Prime. Under the hood of the Nexus is NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 chipset, which has four cores running at 1.3GHz and is paired with 974MB of RAM. It’s as quick as tablets get at present and it shows in benchmark and real-world testing.

After using the Nexus 7 everything changed.I found that I loved the size. It took a little time to get used to the screen size but once I was use to it, I fell in love. Contrary to my previous thoughts, I found that the 7-inch screen size was shockingly handy. It is so much easier to hold carry around. It makes it incredibly easy to hold the Nexus 7 with just one hand for minimal effort required to watch online videos.
In truth, the Nexus 7 is much better than I gave it credit for. It’s taken all of my expectations and flipped them on their heads, proving that it is indeed an extremely capable tablet.Trust me, you won't regret it.
